Easter initiation Port Adriano

Easter Course from April 03rd to 14th, two weeks course in dinghy sailing for ages 8 to 18 years old with previous experience. 10% discount for early payment until 31 March.

 

DINGY SAILING INITIATION COURSE - Easter Week
Aimed at all those children between 5 and 18 years old who have never had contact with the world of dinghy sailing, who wish to refresh the knowledge acquired in the past.
Classes are held from Monday to Friday with different timetables to choose from:
Mornings: 10:00 - 14:00
All day: 10:00 - 18:00
The organisation is as follows:
10:00 to 11:00 - Arrival of the students, assembly of the boat, theory class and snack before sailing.
11:00 to 13:30 - Sailing applying the concepts of the day seen in class. All students without exception learn to handle the boat by themselves, always under the supervision of a monitor.
13:30 to 14:00 - Pick up the boat and sails, clean with fresh water and get changed to wait for the parents to pick them up.
The course is divided into the following topics:
DAY 1: Parts of the boat and boat handling.
DAY 2: Study of the wind direction and how it affects our boat.
DAY 3: Methods for turning the boat, in depth, La Virada.
DAY 4: Study of the sailing courses and adjustments of the sail for each course.
DAY 5: The gybe, explanation of how to perform this type of turn.
Within these modules we always add a talk on safety at sea and the environment, encouraging the values of respect and cleanliness of the environment that surrounds us so as NOT to pollute our environment and make a better place to live with animal species.

The students have an instructor in a motor boat to control and correct them at all times. 
The sailing centre provides the students with all the necessary material to carry out the activity as well as the safety systems at sea such as life jackets.
It will not be provided:
-Sun cream.
-Cap.
-Shoes or rock shoes.
-Sunglasses.
